Classical roots. Americana soul.

Born and raised next to the Appalachian mountains, international prize-winning multi-instrumentalist Gregory Wang has brought his sound to concert halls across Europe and the U.S., as well as porches in the American South — performing everything from gospel to rock to baroque on instruments ranging from electric bass to harpsichord.

From Bach to bluegrass, his inspirations walk the line between his classical, jazz, and pop roots with a deep reverence for past and present greats — always drawing strongly from his East Tennessee heritage.

As the protégé and last teaching assistant of legendary pianist Menahem Pressler — and a former university lecturer in music theory — Gregory Wang has taught, toured, and recorded across genres, engineering tracks for rising artists and composing soundscapes for screen.

Now a film producer at Boston Consulting Group, he brings an ear for nuance and a deep sense of narrative into the world of branded storytelling.
